THE PROJECT

Cranked Up Films is an independent studio producing films across horror, sci-fi, and thriller genres. While the studio had strong creative output, its visibility was largely limited to niche genre audiences.

With multiple titles in flight and limited internal resources, the studio needed a way to scale marketing efforts without overwhelming teams or diluting the brand.

The Challenge

The challenge wasn’t creativity, it was structure.

Core challenges included:

  • Low brand recognition outside the core fanbase

  • Multiple releases happening simultaneously with limited resources

  • No consistent marketing engine to support discovery

  • Fragmented identity across films and platforms

  • The need to scale promotions without burnout or brand dilution

Cranked Up Films didn’t need louder marketing — they needed a system that could grow reach, traffic, and trust across titles.

The strategy focused on building a studio-level foundation that could support individual films without forcing them into a single mold.

The approach centered on:

  • Creating a unified studio brand while preserving film-specific voice

  • Designing repeatable systems for content, campaigns, and distribution

  • Supporting discoverability through paid, organic, and grassroots efforts

  • Ensuring each film had a clear audience path and funnel
